Arizona Diamondbacks headed to the World Series after beating Phillies for the National League pennant

The Arizona Diamondbacks crushed the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in Game 7 of the Public Association Title Series Tuesday night, progressing to the Worldwide championship for the subsequent time in establishment history.

It was a volatile game right on time at Residents Bank Park in Philadelphia. The Diamondbacks struck first to take a 1-0 lead in the highest point of the primary inning. The Phillies scored the game's next two rushes to take a 2-1 lead after four innings.

A couple of two-out singles from Arizona's Corbin Carroll and Gabriel Moreno drove in two runs in the fifth inning to return the Diamondbacks to front 3-2. Carroll attached a protection run with a fielder's choice in the seventh inning to stretch out the Diamondbacks' lead to 4-2, and the Arizona warm up area held the Phillies' dynamic offense scoreless the remainder of the way.

The Diamondbacks will make their most memorable excursion back to the Fall Exemplary starting around 2001, when they crushed the New York Yankees in an exhilarating seven-game series.

They'll confront the Texas Officers, who crushed the Houston Astros in the American Association Title Series in seven games.

The 2023 Worldwide championship is booked to start on Friday with Game 1 at the Officers' Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
